Establishes own design studio in Copenhagen with Jørgen Ditzel
  1947 Wins prizes in 8 different competitions
(glass, textiles, furniture, ceramics)
  1950 First prize in Goldsmith's Joint Council competition
  1951 Silver Medal, Triennale, Milan, Italy
  1954 Silver Medal, Triennale, Milan, Italy
Publishes the book Danish chairs
Cooperation established with Georg Jensen
  1956 Receives the Lunning prize
  1957 Silver Medal, Triennale, Milan, Italy

Establishes Interspace International Furniture House
