  1943 Opens own Design Studio in Aarhus, Denmark
  1946 Teaches at The Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts
  1946 Opens own Design Studio in Gentofte, Denmark
  1946 Employed at Palle Suneson's Design Studio in Copenhagen
  1951 Receives the Lunning Prize
  1976 First Prize in Louis Poulsen's Competition "Street light"
with Marianne Wegner
  1997 Honourable member of the Royal Danish Acadamy of
Fine arts, Copenhagen
  1997 Receives the 8th International Design Award, Osaka, Japan
  1997 Awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Royal College of Art, London
  2007 Died in Copenhagen
